THE MEETING
Over 8 years ago...............on a rock in the Botanical Gardens, during a Christmas Concert!
THE PROPOSAL
September 29, 2006- We were out celebrating Ainsley's birthday (he turned 31 in September 27) at the Dome located at the top of the Hyatt Regency Dallas.
My version of the story is a bit blurry since I was crying, covering my face and shaking uncontrollably for most of the proposal (nerves make you act really strange).
All I remember is seeing a ring in a box...and Ainsley going down on one knee... Then I heard 'Well?' I guessed I must have said yes because the next thing I heard was 'Give me your hand.'
It was the first time I had ever seen Ainsley nervous!!!
